The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has launched its presidential campaign in Akwa Ibom State ahead of the general elections in 2023.


Just four months before the February 25 presidential election, the event is being held at the Nest of Champions Stadium in Uyo, the state capital.


Akitu Abubakar, the party's presidential candidate, and former vice president, as well as Ifeanyi Okowa, the governor of Delta State, and Udom Emmanuel, the governor of Akwa Ibom State, are among the dignitaries present at the South-South State.
